Making this year’s cut via the Oxford English Dictionary are Twitter and texting favorites:
- OMG
- LOL
- FYI
And there are new meanings to old favorites, such as heart. As in:
Foodies rejoice, Taquitos and California Rolls are not only yummy, but legitimate words as well.
Fashionistas, better watch those Muffin Tops.
And for all my peeps at home, it’s not just us who call the City of Angels “la-la-land.” It’s now finally a place and a word all on its own.
